The ED administers grant funding programs that fulfill its mission to promote student achievement and preparation for global competitiveness by fostering educational excellence and ensuring equal access. Pitt provides information about two ED institutional training grant programs:
- Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN)
- Institute of Education Sciences - Research Training Programs
